Standing Wild 01— DJE Original
11″ x 14″ | Original Art
, Standing Wild celebrates the beauty of growing freely and holding your ground. A gathering of expressive blooms rises across the canvas, their deep violet crowns standing tall above a richly layered field of greens and earthy neutrals. The visible brushwork gives the composition its vitality.
Expressive, spirited, and rooted in the beauty of nature, the Standing Wild Series is a collection of four original works celebrating individuality, resilience, and the freedom to flourish. Each 11″ x 14″ painting offers a different perspective on the same untamed botanical story—from a singular arrangement to fields of blooms standing together.
Deep violet flowers, vibrant greens, and flashes of golden yellow move across atmospheric grounds of blue, ivory, and earthy neutrals. Loose, gestural brushwork gives each piece an instinctive energy, allowing stems to twist, petals to overlap, and color to move freely across the surface.
Framed size: 12 x 15

DJE original art is an expression of life’s journeys and relationships, using shapes, patterns, color and texture as a symbolic interpretation of how things felt at the time. Wood, fabric, paint and plaster on canvas are all in play. For DJE, making art is a path for personal understanding and clarity. If the art speaks to you the viewer, if it captures your imagination, raises questions, evokes emotion, one man’s process may enlighten another’s. In this way, art is personal and transcendent.
CUSTOM COMMISSIONS: Art originals are indeed just that: one-of-a-kind creations. Please know, however, that DJE loves personal commissions. Perhaps an already-sold work of art speaks to you. Maybe you’re intrigued by piece, but desire a change in size, palette, material or content. The creative process can even be collaborative with regard to dimensions and color preferences. Where to begin? The custom process starts with an email.
