Structured yet fluid, Kane explores containment, movement, and the tension between boundary and freedom. A continuous looping line forms an open, square-like perimeter—its edges soft, shifting, and alive—suggesting a frame that both holds and releases what’s within.
Inside and along this perimeter, the line twists and returns on itself in rhythmic intervals, creating a sense of continuity and quiet momentum. The gesture feels instinctive, almost meditative—like a path traced over time, revisited and redefined.
The background introduces a layered patchwork of warm earth tones—russet, ochre, plum, and softened clay—each block subtly visible beneath a translucent wash. This structured ground contrasts with the fluidity of the linework, grounding the composition while allowing movement to take precedence.
