A tribute to the visual language of Brice Marden, Moon in Your Eyes draws inspiration from the artist’s iconic minimalism and layered, calligraphic line work, reinterpreted through Linwood’s unmistakable mixed-media approach.

Sweeping bands of charcoal, oxblood, dusty rose, and muted blue travel across the surface in a continuous rhythm—crossing, looping, and doubling back upon themselves. The lines feel spontaneous yet deliberate, creating a visual conversation between movement and restraint.

Beneath them, Linwood builds a richly worked ground of collaged ephemera, handwritten fragments, repeated symbols, washes, and distressed textures. These underlying layers add history and complexity, setting the fluid simplicity of the line work against a surface filled with evidence of process and time.
