Expansive, layered, and alive with discovery, The Dawn Calls captures the sense of possibility that arrives with a new beginning. The composition unfolds like a visual journal, bringing together expressive marks, geometric sketches, handwritten fragments, and collaged details across a richly worked surface.

Soft fields of ivory, sage, dusty blue, blush, and weathered grey are interrupted by deeper passages of burgundy, charcoal, and navy. Drips, loosely drawn grids, intersecting lines, and partially obscured imagery create a sense of history beneath the surface—as though each layer records a different thought, place, or moment along the way.

    DJE original art is an expression of life’s journeys and relationships, using shapes, patterns, color and texture as a symbolic interpretation of how things felt at the time.
