Ticket Series
Mixed Media, Collage & Ephemera

The Ticket Series transforms ordinary fragments into objects of memory and meaning. Built from layers of found tickets, vintage ephemera, handwritten notes, and expressive paint application, each work becomes a small archive of moments collected along the way. Bold crimson passages create rhythm and energy across the surface, while worn paper edges and layered textures reveal the beauty of time and use.

Phrases such as Let Go, Somehow, and Found My Way emerge throughout the series, offering poetic cues rather than fixed narratives. These fragments invite personal interpretation, allowing each viewer to discover their own connection within the work.

Presented as a collection or individually, the Ticket Series embodies Linwood’s fascination with journey, memory, and transformation. Rich in texture and layered symbolism, each piece serves as a reminder that even the smallest artifacts can carry extraordinary meaning.

CUSTOM COMMISSIONS: Linwood originals are indeed just that: one-of-a-kind creations. Please know, however, that Linwood loves personal commissions. Perhaps an already-sold work of art speaks to you. Maybe you’re intrigued by piece,  but desire a change in size, palette, material or content. We should talk. Linwood never repeats himself, but an existing piece may inform a new original, expressly for you. The creative process can even be collaborative with regard to dimensions and color preferences. Where to begin? The custom process starts with an email.
